Mitchell Fortress is a rare Caribbean gem-originally a 17th-century stronghold, now beautifully restored as a 4-bedroom villa steeped in history. Once used by the British to fend off Spanish invaders and pirates, its thick stone walls still feature gun slots, with two restored cannons standing proudly on the lawn.

A half-million-dollar renovation has brought the property into the modern day, blending Italian floors, crisp white fabrics, and imported European furnishings with the villa’s historic charm. All bedrooms are ensuite with sleek Grohe fixtures, double vanities, glass-wall showers, flat-screen TVs, and either air conditioning or refreshing sea breezes.
